My BFF Danai (http://deityofthewoods.tumblr.com) and I were discussing the possible reasons behind Gerard’s hair being all faded and awkward. We decided he must be waiting for it to fade to the point where he could redye it. After going through a few different options, we realized that teal would be amazing.
I quickly whipped up this photo (ignore the lavender halo, I’m too lazy to fix the selection), and HNNG.

And so it began..
This blog is run by Whitney and Danai, who both share a fascination for Gerard Way’s hair dye of choice over the years.
Back in 2006, when Gerard bleached his hair for The Black Parade, they pondered about the other choices he could have made instead. So, on a boring autumn day, a picture of bleached-blonde!Gerard was dragged into Photoshop and his hair was painted in all the colours of the rainbow.
In early 2011, another such boring day occured, and voilá, there was aqua!Gerard in all his photoshopped glory:
